The health and well-being of all St. Jude Runners and Participants is our #1 priority. The event is consistently being evaluated to consider the most appropriate safety considerations. At this time, we feel the 2021 St. Jude Runs will be able to function similar to Pre-COVID events. We do not know what the execution of the St. Jude Telethon will be at this point but will communicate once we know more information. If you do not feel comfortable registering for an in-person event, we have a Virtual Runner option available. This option will look similar to the format of 2020 (single runner participating in their community with the support of social media). Participants will have the ability to switch their participation manner between “in-person” and “virtual” until June 1, 2021.
Thank you for visiting the Eureka St Jude Run site! The St Jude Runs began in 1982 with a small group of runners raising money and awareness for St Jude by running from Memphis to Peoria. Within a few years more people wanted to participate than the run could handle logistically, so additional run cities were added. Today there are 35 cities that have a St Jude Run. We stagger our start times based on distance so that the runs from all those cities reach downtown Peoria at about the same time. This is Eureka's seventh year with a run. We have experienced remarkable growth over the years, and we still have room for more! Please take a little time to peruse our website for additional information and contact us with questions. We would love to have you join us for our 2021 run!!
